Ruth Bader Ginsburg graduated from Cornell and served on the Supreme Court. When she died, there was a memorial in my city, and I got interviewed by the local news station.
Elizabeth Glaser founded the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS foundation, which is one of our philanthropies.
Judith Resnik was killed in the Challenger disaster.
We've got a whole list. Also, TIL that Lauren Weisberger, author of The Devil Wears Prada, is an AEPhi.

Very interesting list! I was pleased to see a few Pitt AEPhis on the list - they had an awesome chapter when I was there!

She was initiated as an Honorary Member of Sigma Alpha Iota by the Sigma Theta chapter in 2015.

Pi Beta Phi selected as NASA astronaut candidate
I just read about a local woman who was selected as a NASA astronaut candidate. The article said that she attended the University of Southern California. Out of curiosity, I did a search and, yes, she is a sorority woman! She is a Pi Beta Phi from California Gamma chapter at USC.
