I pulled tax information for 34 fraternities during the pandemic years

Wow, this is really interesting. Thank you for posting. I saw my organizations' numbers.

I knew that insurance is a big chunck of fraternity expenses, since fraternities are considered high risk in the eyes of insurance companies.

As far as membership and dues. Prior to COVID, we were at 5,500+ members, now we are at 3,500+ members. Do the math and see the loss of income from dues. We closed 8 chapters due to the pandemic but they were already struggling and on "life support".

In the future, I hope so. Pulling the information isn‘t difficult, but it is time consuming. The next time I do this; however, it won‘t be a multi-year thing. I‘m trying to figure out about how big the Fraternity/Sorority „economy“ is.

My guess is $350,000,000+ when factoring national/chapter dues, campus fees, and all of the products and services catered to FSL orgs.
