Hmm, I wonder if I can recall that many of them.
Okay, maybe its not a "mascot," but I love the Theta Kite symbol. I also read on GC that Walt Disney had "Let's Go Fly A Kite" written in honor of his Theta wife and daughters, which I think is the sweetest thing ever. (I love Mary Poppins--huge Julie Andrews fan-and I love that song.)
I think the Tri-Delt dolpin is very original.
I think it's great that both Phi Mu and ADPi have Lions as mascots since were founded at the same school within a year of each other!

Of course I love our lion, but that wasn't our first mascot. The Adelpheans had two previous mascots before settling on our lion.

I also love Chi Omega's owl... Some days I wish I were a Chi Omega so I could buy all the cute owls I see when shopping!

I really do love DZ's turtle the best, but I freely admit to being biased!

I really like Chi Omega's owl - I always see lots of cute owl stuff. Also, ZTA's crown is really cool. I remember reading on here long ago how the sisters of one ZTA chapter had a "buzz phrase" they'd use whenever they were out and another sister wasn't acting like a lady. "Your crown is crooked." I thought that was cool

I really like the fleur de lis (and actually have quite a few of them as part of my living room design) and the turtle.

I think its great to see a few people saying they like the Sphinx!! Its such a difficult thing to buy - there are never 'cute' sphinxes! I have this little Sphinx thing that my BSP sister Jamie (betasigrose) gave me, it does kind of scare me at times, but its special and I <3 it! (see, the sphinx is scary!)

I think the reason many Phi Sig chapters have 'local' mascots/symbols is because of the sphinx... you cant find cute stuffed sphinxes to give out on bid day etc!

Our local mascot is the teddy bear (I have WAY too many) and symbol is the sun...

As far as mascots go - I am incredibly partial to Delta Sigma Theta's mascot. Anyone who knows me knows of my elephant obsession... to be part of a sorority that would enable me? Id faint. (PS to any DST's I should get a good pic of this awesome sketch I have... hmmm)

I also enjoy the lyre from AChiO, since its also a TBS symbol and music rocks... I like the key from Kappa (I have a cool old fashioned key I got as a kid... I joke that its the key to my heart!) I also like the compass for TPA... they suffer from symbol-itis too... you cant find things with a cute compass on them - but fortunately they have a penguin to back it up!

Since I already mentioned mascots, I'll talk about symbols now.

I like Alpha Chi Omega's lyre.

Alpha Xi Delta's quill represents its motto quite well.

The lamp of Delta Zeta and the torch of Sigma Delta Tau look great on their pins.

The compass of Theta Phi Alpha is quite an original and distinctive symbol.

Delta Phi Epsilon's mascot is the unicorn, and I think that's nifty.
I also like the Pi Beta Phi's mascot, the angel.
I like Sigma Gamma Rho's mascot, the poodle.

As far as symbols, I like Delta Gamma's (the anchor), Alpha Chi Omega's (the lyre), Phi Sigma Sigma's (the Sphinx), and Pi Beta Phi's (the arrow).

I suppose you'd call it a symbol moreso than a mascot, but AKA/APhi's use of the Ivy leaf.

Is it Gamma Phi Beta who uses the palm tree?

I like Theta Phi Alpha's penguin!
A few other favorites is Delta Delta Delta's dolphin, Alpha Epsilon Phi's giraffe, Chi Omega's Owl and lion of Phi Mu and Alpha Delta Pi.

Here are a few mascots and why I like them:

- Alpha Delta Pi and Phi Mu: I like the lion because I am a big Narnia fan.
- Alpha Epsilon Phi: I like their reason for choosing the giraffe. I was given a giraffe puppet at work for my outreaches.
- Alpha Omicron Pi: The panda is quite nifty.
- Alpha Xi Delta: BetXi Bear has a really pretty dress
- Chi Omega and Kappa Kappa Gamma: Owls are the symbol of wisdom.
- Delta Gamma: I like the concept of the Hannah doll
- Delta Delta Delta: Dolphins are totally awesome
- Delta Phi Epsilon: Wow, an unicorn. I wonder why they chose a fantasy animal.
- Delta Zeta: I think the turtle is totally cute and very original.
- Pi Beta Phi: I like angels. I like wings.
- Sigma Kappa: Can't help but love the dove- it's what my family name means.
- Theta Phi Alpha: The penguin is the favorite animal of one of my best friends; so when I see penguins, I automatically think of her.

I can tell you it was selected during the early 1980's when unicorns were very popular. Some of our sisters LOVE the unicorn, particularly our collegiate members.

In terms of mascots--My favorite would be the Alpha Gamma Delta squirrel. I really like Theta Phi Alpha's penguin too.

I wish ZTA had a national mascot, but I did love our chapter mascot of the Zebra at UF.

I do love Tri-Delta's dolphin. I have always loved dolphins, and have lots of dolphin jewelry. I've always loved the sea, and have been attracted and fascinated to these beautiful animals.
