Arizona State
ASU is doing virtual round 1 and 2 and possibly in person round 3 and pref, but there will be no final decision until Pres Crow decides how we proceed.
The applications are very detailed and include a video (not mandatory). The videos are going to be key for these PNM's because they show personality and an application can not show you that. The video will be a crucial part of the recruitment process for the PNM. Those choosing not to submit risk being released after round one IMO.
I do like that contact with the PNM's has been relaxed. I think it takes the secrecy out of the recruitment process and these PNM's are asking a lot of questions. I think it is going to be good for the Greek system overall.
Hold on, it is going to be a wild ride!

Auburn just announced a move-in schedule that is bound to affect sorority recruitment. We'll see.
Alabama's parents at Bid Day - they won't be allowed in the houses, but apparently they're not forbidden from coming. Then again, because of construction, it won't be in the stadium that's adjacent to Sorority Row, it will be in the coliseum that's about a mile down the street. So I'm not sure if the new members will try to run all that way (in the heat and humidity!) or they'll bus them up there and let 'em out.

I am not understanding how the dates I saw would affect recruitment. The PNM's move in on Friday and recruitment starts Saturday with bid day on Friday. Am I missing something?

Move in is over four days now at Auburn - Tuesday through Friday. First two rounds are virtual. Sisterhood round is over three days now with a small number of PNM and sisters at each party. And masks are required for all in person parties.

Okay, I have a warped sense of humor, but I'm envisioning the women either frantically seeking designer masks, hinting at colors if they've a preconceived chapter desire, or steadfastly avoiding any group's colors.
Or masks being the "statement piece" of rush.
Or Panhellenic masks being issued in place of t-shirts. Wouldn't *that* make it fun to differentiate PNMs?

I thought about the masks being a fashion statement as well. Also...I’ll be interested to see how creative the ladies are with their eye makeup.

Masks are this year's cute little summer rompers.

OMG I just had this mental image of masks printed for each PNM with her PNM# on it.
