				Advisors/Honoraries of the *other* gender.

Looking for people in single sex organizations.1) Can your advisors be of the other gender?
 2) Can your honorary members be of the other gender?

(For Alpha Phi Omega, although currently(as of 1976) co-ed, apparently at least as of the 1960s, both advisors and honorary members *could* be of the other gender, but very uncommon)

For Delta Gamma the answers are no and no. We can have male faculty advisers if the U requires chapters to have one.

Alpha Phi Alpha has two kind of advisors: Campus Advisors and Alpha Advisors. Campus Advisors can be anyone employed by the university. Alpha Advisors must be active and financial members of the fraternity, and also trained.
Our honorary members were always male.

			Sigma Chi
 1) Faculty Advisors can be female. One of the best ones I've ever met for a Sigma Chi chapter was female.

 2) We don't do honoraries .

Yes. When Beta Theta Pi reorganized at Ohio State, the CA was a Chi Omega.

			1) Can your advisors be of the other gender?
For Gamma Phi Beta, Chapter Advisers, no; but, Faculty Advisors required by the university, yes.

 2) Can your honorary members be of the other gender?

 No.

Also, when I was previously employed at San Diego State University, I was the Faculty Advisor for Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and Kappa Sigma Fraternity. So, I can assume that those two GLOs allow female Faculty Advisors.

SAE can have a faculty advisor (university employee) of whatever gender, though unless an initiated member of the Fraternity, would be barred from attending certain private meetings. We have a provision for special, non-student initiations, but these are exceedingly rare and require substantial service over a prolonged period of time, along with a lengthy approval process.
