1) How many years ago did you rush?
Okay the answer to this question hurts, so you know, I'm just not gonna answer it! Put it this way, it seems like yesterday but it certainly wasn't.

2) How many sororities did you have on campus?
8 NPC sororities.

3) Did you rush as a freshman?
I rushed the 2nd year, but I was in a 5 year program.

4) Did you have an idea where you wanted to go going in ... and did you end up there?
I was absolutely clueless when I went to Rush. It was a good thing, I knew I wanted a home, sisters and the whole Greek experience but as far as knowing anything about the sororities I was a total novice.

5) Was your class full to quota?
Yes, 40 women.

6) Did you get your first, second or third choice?
I got my absolute first choice and have been happy with it ever since. There were bumps in the journey, but that's a story for another time, I ended up with my first choice and true home.

7) What was your favorite party, and was it at the house you joined?
Yes, my favorite party was the first night at ADPi. I just had that feeling of being relaxed. They dispelled any myths about sorority women that I might have been harboring. They also played an ABBA song while showing their slide show and that totally endeared me to them as well. (This is before the retro-70s thing came into vogue, not too much before, but before.)
I loved what they wore, blue and white shirts and Khaki shorts and white keds (keds were popular then, or at least passable and great for rush). I just had such a good time. Oh, it makes me happy just thinking about it!

8) Was it frills/no frills?
Frills, such as they were at a the time! Nothing too dramatic until Preference when chapters would pull out all the stops. Ice sculptures, gourmet food, smoke machines, some of it was really over the top!
