from the NPC Manual from 2016

Invitations for Membership (2005) – POLICY
NPC reaffirms that a sorority should be willing to issue an invitation to membership to any woman who is invited and
attends its preference event. NPC reaffirms that the name of every woman whom a sorority invites to attend and who
attends that sorority’s preference event should appear on the sorority’s bid list.
