in high school, I just wanted to get the hell outta that school! So decorating a cap that was an UGLY butt color of orange, nope didn't decorate it. For undergrad, my school had some SERIOUS rules! Your cap better NOT be decorated or you weren't walking. For ladies, we had to wear black dresses, with hose, in-----the hot a&:?4)&$?'!,/; Alabama sun for graduation. No jewelry unless it was small pearls and no earrings unless they were small pearls or diamonds or basically "non distracting." The men had to wear black slacks and shoes and starched white shirts with ties. I say all this to say, decorating our caps, while we may have wanted too, at our school, it wasn't for gonna happen. For grad, I think I felt the same way about it for hs, I just wanted to get out of that town and GO so I didn't decorate it.
