Thank you so much to everyone who has followed along with my story! I'm incredibly excited and proud to announce that I am a Parks and Rec, also known as...................

PHI MU!!!!

I could not be happier with how everything turned out and I love all of my new sisters so much already. I can't thank you all enough for your support during this process, especially those of you who wrote me recommendations and my mom, KillarneyRose (surprise!) who thought she was being sly by posting in my thread like she didn't know who I was.

Also, for those who were curious, I go to Tulane University! My username comes from the symbol of New Orleans, the Fleur de Lis.

Knew campus

I was fairly sure of the campus given the dates and number of chapters, and confirmed that a few weeks ago. I work with Parks and Recreation and knew they were going to have a strong recruitment.

My Phi Mu women in this chapter perfectly fit her impressions each round.

Congrats to our newest member! Quota was 82 and we matched 87.

Welcome, welcome to the sisterhood of Phi Mu!

Congratulations!! I saw that her signature had changed and wondered, "when did she get a Phi Mu daughter?", but I didn't put that together until now!

Same here. I saw her signature line and thought, "Oh neat. I remember the Omega Phi Alpha; but, I must have missed a story somewhere". LOL

Congratulations fleurtygirl! May you enjoy many fun-filled years in Phi Mu!

And if I remember properly, fleurtygirl would be our first "GreekChat Legacy" or Second Generation GreekChatter or whatever!

We'll have to get the GC catsuits out and initiate her.

Didn't at least one of Carnation's daughters have an account here too?

I could be wrong - I just remember newbieCeCe/fleurtygirl logging in a few years ago.

Whoever it was, it's totally exciting that two generations of the same family are now on GreekChat!

When my daughter (generallygreek) posted her recruitment story, KillarneyRose posted that she loved second generation GCers.

Now that you've outed me, I'll officially congratulate you GreekChat style!
I'm so happy that things worked out the way you wanted to. After talking to you after the first round, you were so excited about Phi Mu and now here you are!

Now, I have to start shopping. Lions and pink carnations and quatrefoils, oh my!
