Hey there... I'm NME so basically its my job to run bid night. My chapter runs Kappa Kasino on Bid Night. We don't have a house so we use our Chapter Room as our facility. I take the NM's up to our corridor and play some ice breakers so that they get to know one another and begin to feel comfortable with me. About 1/2 hour later we go back down to the CR and enter the Kasino. The girls are so suprised to see a Vegas stlye party awaiting them! We have about 5 game tables (everything from Poker to some cheesy blind date game for 12 year olds). They can earn "chips" to redeem for fun Kappa prizes ( candles, stationary, "dates" with other sisters, a dinner out with a Kore Group) whatever fits your budget. Also we have waitresses floating around with "drinks" non alcoholic margaritas, daquiris, pina colodas. IT IS SO FUN. The girls absolutely love it cuz its so different from what the other GLO's do on Bid Night - and its way low pressure and and high fun. You can't help but get to knwo your new sisters when you're playing silly board games! PM me if you want more details.
