THANK YOU! Locals just don't do whatever they want. They are founded on more than just trying to be devient from the national system. We have traditions, rituals, bylaws, and standards for sisterhood and membership. It's that type of attitude mentioned above that makes the local/national feud grow stronger.

I guess the real reason I didn't like the article that much was the fact that the writer was comparing locals and national to a "mom and pop store" and a "fortune 500". That's like comparing Nike to Keds.
