Fire batons would be so awesome. Especially with all that hairspray.

Miss Oklahoma would not have improved with a warmup. Pitch that bad cannot be corrected. (I am a professional and teach voice.) The very loud backing vocals were an obvious attempt to aid her search for pitch and to distract from her voice. Lovely girl, just not a singer.

Not a fan of Miss Mississippi's violin piece. Lots of high notes on the violin don't translate well to microphones and being on air. Also sounded like she was off with the accompaniment at times.

The violin wasn't tuned properly, a function of having to jump right up and play. All of the notes were just under the note.

Seemed to me that those whose voices aren't all that compensated with expressive faces.

Miss GA has some voice!!! I'm wondering if she plans on singing opera professionally.

I was about to cry if Miss Georgia didn't get to sing. She really slayed, even with the change that she needed to make to the aria to make it fit the time limit.
