Interviewer: Really, like what?
Me: Well, I know you guys focus a lot of your philanthropy on women and children, and I think I have some ideas within that category that you can add to that such as X, Y, and Z

Frankly, you may want to work on your interview skills.
If they ask "Why do you want to join Zeta Pi Omega?" and you reply with "Well, I know you guys want to go national, and I have some great ideas that will help you get recognized by the NPC, which can possibly start a colony and eventually a chapter." then you just told them you want to join them
because they want to be national. The rest of your answer is fluff. If what you mean is "I want to join because I'm a leader and here's a way I can help lead you to your stated goal...." that's an answer for an unasked question.
