These kids need to face the music in a court of law and accept any consequences that may come their way. What they committed were FELONIES, not relatively harmless pranks. Hopefully any form of repaying their debt to society would include therapeutic rehabilitation and long-term education and treatment for alcohol/drug abuse.

Would there be any question about prosecution had this been done by street gangs?
