Return Rate question

I'll start this by saying that if anyone knows more, please do correct me.

It is my understanding that the return rate is based on the number of invites matched at the time the computer does the matching. If the woman had withdrawn BEFORE the invites are matched, then the chapter's flex list would come in to play and they may be able to fill that slot. If she withdraws after receiving the invitation, then the return rate does not take that into account.

My understanding is that it's more complicated than a simple "return rate" under RFM. Where you were ranked on a PNM's list is also taken into consideration, i.e. if a woman receives an invite to your chapter because she ranked you last but didn't get any other invitations, that is not the same as if she ranked you first.

Wow, I think now my brain hurts. Thank you for all of your responses. I thought it was a much easier calculation than what it really is.
