That quota number is a bit high. With 2,250 girls evenly divided amongst 16 houses, the number would be 140, but that would mean no one dropped or got dropped. I would say a more realistic number would be around 105. Obviously, some houses will take more to ensure their pledge classes are filled out.

This is my daughter's first year as an active and I'm just as excited this year as I was last year - without all the stress! I can't wait to hear to hear where girls land and see pictures. All you moms will be able to relax soon!

As a matter of fact, according to the Crimson White newspaper a few days ago, the actual number of signups was 2,276; sounds like the 2,250ish number was the ballpark figure given out. Though I guess that doesn't affect the final quota number much.
