Why are you offended? Are you a homosexual? Gay means to be happy. It dose not mean to be homosexual. So my next question for you is, are you a college student? So, if you are a homosexual do not feel offended, becuase the word has nothing to do with homosexuals, and maybe you should be the one with the bigger vocaubulary. Do not write back about the whole, word usage on todays society, because when it comes down to it-all that needs to be thrown out the window becuase what it means and how it is meant is on the user. Think about all the other words, example, bitch. I can think of all the meanings, all hundred of em', that are use for "bitch" but when it comes down to it, it is either I use it the proper way, dictionary term or not-slang term.
