Regarding total at CNU, I just asked my g-little and she said she had no idea about it. I looked through the Panhellenic Eboard minutes and didn't find any mention of them raising it, so who knows what's going on with it.

It was last raised four years ago to 60, and since then we've expanded, got a new Greek Life adviser, and had a bunch of other stuff going on. It's possible that raising total has been pushed aside in order to focus on expansion and the health of the Greek community...all of the sororities have around 120 members now after Bid Day. I can't imagine that they won't want to raise total to at least 80.

Also quota was 39. If it doesn't go down much after Delta Gamma comes next semester, I'm sure they'd think about expansion again.

I thought than under RFM, total was supposed to be adjusted after FR to average chapter size. Why aren't Panhellenics enforcing this aspect of RFM? Or is that merely a suggestion?

I'm not sure. I know they didn't try to raise it the last two years I was there after FR, even though PCs were getting bigger. It's possible they raised it but my g-little doesn't remember voting on it.

In home notes I have CNU Total 60 raised to 70 raised to 100. GC is my source, so not sure what year or GC thread the 60 to 70 then 100 came from.

Recalling how secretive CNU's Fall 2011 NPC presentations were (they wouldn't name the presenting groups) so if they ever voted to raise total, that may have been rather secretive, too.

This isn't a school whose Greek system has been pulling huge pledge classes since 1925 or something. I seem to remember people being kind of worried there wouldn't be enough interest when ASA came there. If they're being conservative about raising total, IMO that's not necessarily a bad thing - especially if you end up having to vote it back down after a bad rush or something.
