I'm hoping for an announcement that the prints will be finished out soon as they posted that message as replies to messages from women who currently do not have prints.

That's code for, "We're not sure yet if this has been a wise business investment."
In order for them to make money off these things, they have to order a ton in bulk to bring down the per unit cost. And if not many girls like the prints or care about having a sorority scarf or other random item LP has decided to sell, they'll just lose money. They should have just produced tote bags, wristlets, and maybe a scarf. And then sell the prints themselves as fabric for people to make their own letters, pillows, etc.

I think that's the money maker! Lettered shirts, quilt backings and crafting (pillows, frames, wooden letters, etc)...women would buy the fabric for sure!

I agree...a lot of girls love to get crafty and make things themselves. Making lettered sweatshirts, etc. has been a very popular sisterhood activity at the chapter I advise. My daughter's chapter appears to be equally crafty.

The guesses among my panhel group of friends is:
1. Zeta Tau Alpha
2. Alpha Chi Omega
3. Gamma Phi Beta
4. Alpha Gamma Delta
Which are the biggest groups yet to have a print. We think AXO and AGD have been passed over previously because of their less than adorable colors.
While we think Zeta and Gamma are very likely (the Zeta among us likes to whine that someone in that department probably was rivals with Zeta in college).
We did it based on size/location (because if the sorority is mainly in the south, they'll sell more merchandise)
The ones we think are possible are:
Alpha Sigma Alpha
Phi Sigma Sigma- though they're not huge in the south...
The ones we think probably won't happen for a while:
Alpha Epsilon Phi- Smaller, and doens't have a huge southern pull
Sigma Sigma Sigma- On the smaller side
Alpha Sigma Tau- Smaller
Delta Phi Epsilon- Smaller
Sigma Delta Tau- Smaller, very northern
Theta Phi Alpha- Smaller
Anyone else have any guesses?

Aren't these four the top four in the running right now?

Yep! Adipose's logic seemed to be spot on! I was not at all surprised to see those 4 in the running

How did I not notice the OP's name means fat? How did she come up with that?

I have said I will eat my hat if Gamma Phi Beta is chosen - because I just don't see it happening...for some reason we don't measure up to Lilly standards - whatevah....
I think Zeta will be the selection since of the top four left, they are the most 'southern'

If they're smart, they'll do all four of the 'finalists'. I just don't see the benefit of alienating part of their customer base this way. It's all well and good to pick the 'first four' to get one, but at this point some groups have been waiting a long time. Being first is exciting, but being last is disappointing, and I can't imagine why they would want some of the groups to be disappointed. Those girls might decide they like Vineyard Vines better! IMHO, it's time to get patterns for all of the NPC groups on the shelves.
At least this settles the rumor that they were going to throw the towel in on the whole collection!

Lilly alienated me the last time they did this contest, that's why I said I'd eat my hat if we were chosen...it's the cynic in me, I guess....

I'm guessing it's a Dr. Who reference?
ETA: And I've read it as ADPi Rose EVERY TIME (and could also be a DW reference...)

I am elated that I can buy Alpha Chi garb from Lilly, but I understand the disappointment Sciencewoman. I agree that they are alienating customers! Why can't we ALL have product?

Nope. It says adipose as in adipose tissue, the medical term for fat. If she meant rose, she forgot the R.
BTW, Lilly is getting stingy now. Only chose one when previously they've picked multiple! Really?! Lame.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice . . . I'm over it. Done. Stick a fork in me. Congrats, Lilly - you've really managed to make me actively dislike you.
