Several hometown girls were members of one sorority and they made it a point to make sure I met lots of sisters and that I had a good time. I believe it was the third round when I was introduced to a sister who was so rude. I don't know if she was just having a bad day, or if she didn't like my friend, but after talking to her I made up my mind that I would not accept another invitation from them. At the time I didn't feel bad, but I do now. My friends had gone out of their way to make me feel welcome and I chose to be pig headed and not overlook the 1 member who was not nice. I wish that I had been mature enough to not make a snap decision based on one person.

Looking back, I wish I hadn't cut so many based on snap decisions/immaturity. It's probably a good thing that PNMs can't cut groups anymore because they now get more time to see what each group is really like.

I dropped another sorority because I thought their skit and their outfits were weird!

Honestly as long as she presented herself well, it wouldn't matter. "Unconventional" could mean any number of things, some will look good, some won't. The goal would be "looking good."

When I was at AOTT's pref they brought out a sheaff of wheat. Well, I apparently missed the memo and was convinced it was straw or hay - which i am deathly allergic to. I didn't think I could be an AOTT because I would have really bad allergy attacks when they brought out the "hay".
