I can only imagine the hurt feelings of the mother and sitting sister. But as stated none of us are not privy to membership selection. And with so many legacies going thru it is very hard. I know my chapter cut some great legacies as well (prior to pref round). I am sure that is true for all the houses on campus.
With RFM, is there still a first and second bid list, or is it just one ranked list?
Still a first and second list. The first list is alpha order and will be as long as the low number of the quota range. Often quota ends up higher than the quota range, but in the end it all depends on how the RFM specialists can best maximize the numbers of chapter reaching quota and the number of PNMs placed.
