I didn't even see ibis... I guess they were deleted? I understand why Tom was banned in the first place, but considering what happened occurred a number of years ago and the guy is still a pretty influential and well known member of a major national fraternity, I wouldn't mind seeing him back. I doubt we'd see a repeat of the OTW or HPRL incidents.

As far as what you said, I don't think you were making any sort of veiled threat, but this:

I am going to give you a very good piece of advice. I would strongly suggest you dial back the insults - as a pnm who has already posted identifying information on this site you really don't want to run the risk of insulting long-time GreekChatters who 1.) have mad detective skills and 2.) have contacts like you wouldn't believe. You would not be the first pnm to think she was unidentifiable and "bulletproof" to be left wondering why her recruitment came to a crashing halt on the day she was dropped by all the chapters.

That looked to me like a threat. For PNMs or others who come here to discuss things, we ought to not be so quick to threaten or even allow these sorts of threats. Although, I'd be interested to know the process one would undertake to figure out what sort of real name belongs to a rando on the internet named UVA17.

The ibis post is still there. He's been around under that name for a while, but he doesn't post often.

Fair enough, though I didn't read it that way. As far as figuring out who she might be, though, she gave her name (not a common one) in her intro post, and she had the town she's from as her location. Assuming both were accurate, and assuming her username indicates UVa Class of '17, it wouldn't be that hard to ID her at ZUVa, I don't think.
