How come in some schools frats dont let guys into parties?

That's the way it is at my school, too. Only here, everybody has to live on campus so all of the parties are thrown by frats mostly. This exclusion is kind of insulting as a girl, though. Like my only purpose is to be a potential hook-up buddy.
