Florida country radio morning-show hosts Val St. John and Scott Fish are currently serving indefinite suspensions and possibly worse over a successful April Fools' Day prank. They told their listeners that "dihydrogen monoxide" was coming out of the taps throughout the Fort Myers area.

I want to be the person who answered the phones at the utility company that day!

Sciencewoman thinks that this was a pretty clever prank. Everyone should take basic chemistry. The fact that the radio personalities would get suspended or lose their jobs because the public couldn't figure out an obvious, basic science formula makes me sad.

Glad to see they're now back on the air.

There was Hippolas Cage, Picleaus Cage, Hillary Clinton Cage, and every other conceivable variation of the actor’s face photoshopped on anything imaginable.

I heard of this prank being done multiple times over the last couple decades. Nice to see people haven't gotten any smarter over the years.

Pippi Longstocking is coming into your town....

"Pippi Longstocking" actress Tami Erin was arrested after she allegedly got into a fight with her roommate over pizza, police said.

Erin, best known for her title role in the 1988 movie "The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking," was arrested Thursday on suspicion of assault, the Contra Costa Times of Walnut Creek, Calif., reported.

Erin was placed under citizen's arrest by her roommate, a man whose name was not released, after the two began fighting shortly after a pizza was delivered to their apartment, Walnut Creek police said. Officers said they were not sure what caused the fight, but a neighbor called the police after hearing Erin's roommate call for help.
