			It's quite striking, even without the rope. I *wish* the photos of the clasp were clearer. 
Side note: Landsend has a really cute tote  right now with an anchor on it. Not that I'm jealous or anything. I suppose I need to go post this in the anchor items thread.

I thought those kind weren't used until a little later - I wonder if it's been replaced at some point? I also wonder if there was a rope at one point that broke off...I'd love to see it in person to get a better look. At first glance the photos look good, but when you really start to look at the pin, it's not quite clear enough to see details I'm looking for.
