Bumping to continue the geeking out I started in the badge trends thread.
At Phi Mu Alpha's National Convention this past summer, an announcement was made that the National Executive Committee has decided the expand to facilities at our headquarters, Lyrecrest, with the building of a new Retreat and Education Center. A capital campaign, the Lyrecrest Fund, was kicked-off at the Convention, and something like $130,000 (of the $1M that needs to be raised over the next 4 years) was donated or pledged by those present before the end of Convention.

As I understand it, the Lyrecrest Fund will also provide for some renovations to existing buildings, and I believe that a future second phase may contemplate an auditorium.
This just gets me so excited.
