Lil' Sis,
I'm in Law School now so my schedule is a lot different from when I was an undergraduate. During term its sort of like trying to drink out of a fire hose. Way lots of material to cover and a whole different approach to how the classes are taught and how we are expected to think. My 1L year seemed like the most challenging exercise in time management I have ever delt with. This summer I did two weeks active duty (I'm a reserve officer) and I am now working as a legal assistant at the JAG office on post near to my home. When I graduate I hope to transfer to JAG in the reserves but I don't think I want to go back on full time active duty unless things really heat up.
Back in undergrad days I usually carried 18-21 semester hours which worked out to 6 or seven courses each semester. That normally meant up at 7:30, breakfast, class from 9:00 to 12:00, then lunch and class from 1:00 to 4:00. I tried to avoid Saturday classes so Tuesdays and Thursdays got pretty hectic. We normally had chapter on Wednesdays, TGIF parties at the Union on Fridays and parties at the house on Saturdays. Other organizations and activities had to fit in either during lunch break or after classes when there was time. I didn't study enough but usually tried to put in an hour and a half most nights. I had a few part time jobs during the school year and I went home over the Summer to work. If I can ever crack the code on time management I think I will have solved the great question of the ages, How to fit it all in! When you get to college try to carefully plan your schedule so you have enough free time to enjoy your college career, have fun with your sorority, and still do well in your education. From what I have seen in your postings, you are off to a great start and I think you will have a great time.
