We had something like this happen! I was walking through the mall parking lot 10 years ago and this elderly alum we knew leapt out in front of me and started yelling, "Zeta, Zeta, Z-T-A!", complete with hand motions. Then she looked around and said, "Wait, are your twins with you?" Me: "No!" She was sooooooo embarrassed.
