Um, maybe I missed this, but do the STUDENTS want national Greek life? Or do they want social clubs, or local fraternities and sororities?

In other words, have students petitioned the college to change these policies? Are the underground groups that you spoke of thriving, or dying out?

Is your college public or private? If its private does it accept state or federal funds for something or the other? It may not be technically legal to for them not to recognize your right to associate. Or it might not be legal for them for them to expel you you for your association.

Although in practice it may not be practical to take legal action to get your way.

Does your school recognize any other organization that has an off campus organization?

If I were in Circle K could I wear my circle k stuff around? Can I get space for meetings and activities?
