My cat!
He's an outdoor cat, and every night, he comes right in when my stepdad whistles for him. One night last year, he didn't come home.
28 days later.. we got a call saying he had been found! A woman who lives about 10 miles from us had found him and kept him at her house for a weekend, thinking he was a stray. He had a flea collar, but he would always find a way to take them off. Seeing he was so well kept and affectionate, she figured he had to belong to someone, so she took him to a vet on that Monday to see if he just happened to have a microchip. Thank goodness she did! She wanted to keep him, and even called to say that she loved him so much, she'd gladly take him if we didn't want him. Of course we couldn't give him up
He now has a real collar!
