Small schools I think realize our value more than larger schools. While we do requier a higher amount of resources to support than the average student associations the return on the school's investment is FAR greater!
We are training the leaders of student government, the leaders of clubs. We are running homecoming and other special events around school. WE are the people that bring a small campus together. We are the identity of the school.
In larger schools I think greek life gets lost in the mix with everything else. It's a lot of big fish in a big pond so to speak.
But for smaller schools they really only have us to turn to when they want to mobilize the student body and remind them that school is good for more than classes!
