Thank you all.

I'm not reacting the way I thought I would, which is making me feel weird. I guess they weren't lying when they said folks grieve in different ways...

There's no right way to grieve, and I have often found myself not reacting the way I thought I would.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

My grandma and I were VERY close while I was growing up, so I thought I would be rolling around the ground in tears and agony. I teared up for a few minutes and then immediately started thinking about the good times we shared.

I know it's not really a "problem" to think about the good, but it momentarily made me feel like I was heartless for not feeling more.

Thank again, everyone.
It may hit you later, when you see family, etc. Or you may deal with it in the way you've described, especially if she was suffering.
