I definitely agree with Honeykiss. Faith is definitely a key component when dealing with walking away from negative situations in your life. Walking away can be very difficult, but it takes us to make one step and God will do the rest. Prayer is also very important. I've walked away from many situations and thought that they would turn out worse, but they turned out for the best EVERY TIME.
