3 years of French in high school, but I've never really used it. 2 months of Spanish--I had to drop the class because all of the French I forgot decided to come back and haunt me. It became too confusing so I had to learn it on my own with my Spanish-speaking friends teaching me common words and phrases. One of my best friends is German, so I learned a bit of the Deusch(sp?--I speak it not spell it
) from her. Since I plan on traveling to Italy and Japan, I've learned a few phrases of both Japanese and Italian.
