Rushing as a Junior (Fall Semester) - Questions!

another question - is it a bad idea to ask a sorority member if you have a chance? i dont want to go through this and come out without a bid. there are a couple sorority girls i know and am wondering if i should ask them this?

Not unless you want to put them in an awkward situation. Follow the rules and don't approach them about it.

Membership selection is confidential information, but I will say to you that there have been situations where a PNM has friends in a group who want her while there may be other members who don't want the PNM. It sometimes goes the way of the ones who want the PNM. It sometimes goes the way of the ones who don't want the PNM. To me, sorority membership is not worth screwing up a friendship over.
