Well, well, well...his lawyers FINALLY gave him some GOOD advice. I'm also in awe of this 2 months jail time, $500,000.00, 5-year probation thing. Now, I'm all for him being placed on Illinois' central registry for sex offenders. But look y'all, he's ALREADY talking junk. What does he mean when he says that he's not "...scared if society accepts him or hurls (him) into purgatory"? What is he trying to prove when he says "People have always judged me. I don't give a f*ck. R. will always be R."? What's up with the attitude R. Kelly? Don't get mad at society because you got caught in your mess. Don't get mad because you had to go back and RECANT all of the LIES that you've told. NOW he's saying that he's "only a man" and he "won't let the world ruin (his) name because (he) likes to get "freaky".
So what was the purpose for this LAST-MINUTE-FEEL-SORRY-FOR-ME-BECAUSE-THAT'S-NOT-ME-ON-THAT-TAPE-PEOPLE-ARE-TRYING-TO-RUIN-ME-I'M-INNOCENT song? This is NOT about anyone trying to RUIN him or even about him getting "FREAKY". This is about a 30-something year-old man who likes to VIDEO TAPE himself having sex with MINORS!!!!!!! WAKE UP, R. KELLY!!!! WAKE UP!!!! I just can't STAND his arrogant, narcissistic attitude. What makes me upset with him is that he shows NO type of remorse or shame. He has YET to show ANY humility or conviction. NONE whatsoever. Even after CONFESSING, he CONTINUES to blame OTHERS. I just can't see myself supporting ANYTHING that he does from now on. I'm willing to bet that if this "slap-on-the-wrist" deal goes through, ole' Rev. Meeks can forget about seeing R. for a while.
