Old: A piece of lace from my grandmothers dress in my bouquet
New: Dress, jewelry
Borrowed: My underskirt I borrowed from my cousin
Blue: My garter.

And a sixpence in my shoe! (That's the rest of the saying.)

A silver sixpence.

I made no attempt to acquire one, and having a coin (of any denomination) in my shoe when I was going to spend most of the day on my feet just sounded uncomfortable. I have heard of brides taping a coin to the sole of one shoe - if you're wearing heels and you tape it to the part of the sole that doesn't touch the floor, you wouldn't even know it was there.
