Congrats Pawn, Larkspur and 908sfirst, to your daughters, sisters, etc.! Very happy they all found homes they love! Love the Sigma Kappa pic.
908, although I am a DG, my daughter is a Kappa (at another Big 10 school), and they are a phenomenal organization with wonderful traditions. My daughter knows several actives in the U of I chapter from h.s., all terrific, high achieving young women. We also know a lot of SDTs, great girls. As others have said, every chapter is wonderful.

Congratulations to all -- and best wishes to these girls on this exciting new life adventure -- the beginning of some of the best years of their lives!
Love the pictures -- just adorable girls. You can just feel the energy. Bummed that I missed the quad cam!

EEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! My chapter:
 (Stolen from twitter)
The theme was "all you need is love" (or something like that, according to the statuses I saw on twitter. I saw a chapter sister make that her status and I IMed her like "OMG IS THAT THE THEME!" She goes "yep, 70s!" It was hard for the Beatlemaniac in me to not acknowledge that the song was made in '67 but I digress...  )
So excited I counted 52? I wonder what quota was?

LOL, the fraternity perspective cracks me up. It's true, though, there are SO MANY fraternities compared to sororities, that the sororities all have a full social calendar every semester, and who mixes with whom can change a lot from year to year (e.g. the social chair of XYZ is dating an ABC, so now they have an exchange this semester).

Unfortunately, I don't think the Quad Cam saves recordings. Hopefully someone has a video of the action and it will show up on YouTube in a few days!
