So you went through recruitment without turning on your computer?

You went through recruitment orientation where they told you about all the houses. Do you think that some of the other girls (or the rho chis) MIGHT have said......is on social probation? Not as a rumor, but as a fact.

Do you have such low social radar that you can't discern quality in people and/or truth in rumors?

....and you are concerned about fabrications about your class standing and/or grades. That is a fact. What is on the internet is not necessarily a fact. I am sure that there are sites out there that offer "proof" that the world is flat.

WHAT?!? Do you mean to tell me that if I read it on the internet that it isn't always 100% accurate and true?

OP - you need to either be a sister to these women who extended you a bid or get off the bus. We can't tell you what to do, but unless this scandal involves ritual sacrifice, I'd probably go with option A.
