More information would be needed to accurately answer this situation. It's really a case of what is their status with the Offices of the Grand Chapter. If they really have been terminated, scratched from the scroll, no longer recognized by OGC, etc, then the only way back in would be to pledge again. However, in many cases we find that individuals just are in bad standing and they may be taken back if the chapter is willing to take them and they settle all outstanding obligations, etc. In all situations like this you should definitely contact OGC staff, such as your regional director, for guidance since each situation will vary depending on the details.
