Aaawww sadness! I've half-jokingly said "It's only a matter of time" because I've never met a couple from opposite political parties who have not separated or divorced. Even though I've joked, I never expected it to actually happen to them.
ETA: And I'm not saying their political leanings are why they've separated. That's coincidental.
