Yeah the NPHC rivalries that I saw on yards in various states were more like thug life on the part of the fraternities and sororities. Some of the rivalries were deep seated and others were about things like Alphas wearing gold boots. Most of them were not about who has the highest GPA or does the most community service.
But, many of them were about who runs the yard and has the most aspirants. They just expressed these rivalries in different ways. I know why they expressed their rivalries in that manner but......
I was going to type more but I will end my rant there. It is a thread in and of itself.
