My parents were anti-Greek hippies when they were at college in the 70s but somehow they changed their views because they encouraged my brother and I to pursue Greek life when we were at school. I have no idea what caused their change of heart but I'm very grateful they were supportive.

Me: Sigma Delta Tau
Brother: AEPi
Cousin: Chi Omega
Cousin: Alpha Phi
Cousin: Music fraternity at Juilliard, not sure which one

My dad was Phi Beta Kappa if that counts. My paternal grandmother was in a sorority but the only thing my dad can seem to tell about it was that it had a Phi in it. After researching active sororities at George Washington Univ in the early 1930s, I believe it was Phi Sigma Sigma but I would still love to be able to confirm this somehow.

Try writing to their headquarters with her full name and asking if she is in their member records. I bet they'll look for you. That would be really cool to find out.
