I met my husband online. I was not going to "date" him because he didn't fit the profile (smoker, among other things), but he was funny, so I figured we could have lunch as a reasonable escape from work. During the lunch, I said that I had a date with another guy that night, but now I didn't want to go. He said "dump the mofe. We'll go out." And we did.
