Our first date was at a comic book shop since we both enjoy a (manga) Japanese samurai story called Lone Wolf and Cub. After we left the store, we had dinner. It was a fun date. I remember the look on his face when I walked in the store. He kept averting his stare the whole time we were there. I would catch him looking at me, not in a stalker way but the cute "puppy dog eyes" way.
He and I are both Scorpios and we are both aggressive but I stepped back and let him do the "man thing" and be the aggressor. He knew at the end of the date I wanted to go out with him again. Needless to say, it's been a year and 6 months now. Last year at one of his best friends wedding, he and I had been together only 6 months and other guests there thought we were married. His friends thought we had been together longer than 6 months. LOL!
