I would assume that the new charter would say the new school's name b/c you're kind of starting a "new" chapter. That's a brand new history starting at a 'brand new' school.

My chapter's charter still says "Lawrence Institute of Technology" and I'm glad. I think all of the fraternity chapters have an LIT charter. I wouldn't want us to get a new one with LTU, but that's a different situation.

So, same thing as everyone else said, basically. If we were to close and then recharter, I'd want it to be stated as Sen said it, though: Kappa Beta Chapter, chartered at Sample State College (now Sample State University)
