I need help in keeping the cat out of the Xmas tree. I've sprayed the entire tree in a citrus scented cat deterrent but my lil terror isn't fazed at all.

I also squirt her with a water gun when she gets in the tree but she doesn't seem to care and keeps going back into the tree.

Found this online and it made me lol!

Put something like orange peels under the tree to make your cat less likely to go near it. (Cats also dislike the smell of rotten apples. If no apples are available use fresh dog feces.)

I say no to the dog feces. (Where do people come up with these ideas!)

We put jingle bells on the bottom of the tree for the cats to play with and it seems to keep them from climbing. They actually like chewing the ribbon and bows and lying on the skirt more than climbing. The best advice I have is to make them a better offer somewhere close.
