I know of both an ice rink and Disney proposal! One couple had gone skating at Rockefeller Center in the weeks leading up to Christmas. He had booked a private skate and when the rest of the crowd cleared off the ice, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him and the spectators cheered!

A girl I knew from high school had this happen! Maybe it was the same girl, but I'm sure that's happened more than once, haha. Such a cute idea.

My fiancé surprised me at the O-phi-A national convention in July. Planned an amazing night for the two of us, and proposed in the City Gardens park in downtown, St. Louis, Missouri. I then got to do a candle pass at banquet the next night to reveal the engagement to my sisters
