I dont remember the date I got my big sis other than we had big/lil, initiation, and Homecoming all in the same week and everyone was running around like a chicken with their heads cut off trying to get everything done!

No. It is a program/status that gives special perks to alumnae. You have to pay a fee to be Life Loyal and only alumnae are eligible. There are other sororities & fraternities with Life Loyal programs.
