My dad's middle name was his mother's maiden name. So according to this thread, my dad was a southern belle. Who'd a thunk it?
Ditto for my brother, whose middle name is our mother's maiden name. Unfortunately, he does not bear any resemblance in any way, shape or form to anything southern, despite being born in TN (but not raised there). More's the pity.
